Based on Matthew 24 and Luke 21 
What I am about to say will be hard to believe for some, but I believe it is the truth.
The chaos we are seeing in the world today is only the labor pains leading up to the tribulation hour. If you think it is bad now and it is, from this point forward things are going to escalate 100 times what they are right now. I know that may be hard to get our minds around but it is the truth. Look at what Yeshua (Jesus) had to say about this:
Matthew 24:4-8; Yeshua replied: "Watch out! Don't let anyone fool you! For many will come in my name, saying, `I am the Messiah!' and they will lead many astray. You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don't become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. For peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; all this is but the beginning of the `birth pains.' (Complete Jewish Bible)
If this is only the beginning, then how horrible is it going to get? All one has to do is read Matthew 24, Luke 21, Jeremiah 30, Joel 2-3, Zechariah 10-14 and Revelation 5-19 just for starters and you will discover that things are going to get so bad that if Yeshua didn't shorten the days and if He didn't return, all flesh would be totally and completely destroyed on the planet earth! This is beyond the comprehension of our minds to grasp. However, it is tghe truth.
The other day my wife and I were watching re-runs of the Ed Sullivan show from the 60's. We saw act after act and were taken back to a time when America was the envy of the world. The Baby-Boomer kids flooded the streets playing baseball, football, kick-the-can and playing hide-and-seek. Kids could play all day long as long as we all were in when the street lights came on. Parents didn't have to worry about the safety of their kids. The neighborhood watched out for everyone. I looked at my wife and said, "honey what a time it was for us...we had fun, life was a joy and we had nothing to worry about in those days." The 60's were simple, honest, full of moral character and people cared for one another. Teachers were always right and respected. Fireman and policeman were looked up to and many of us wanted to become like them. Willie Mays with the Giants was a baseball hero. Roman Gabriel with the L.A. Rams was awesome. I could go on and on. Here's a great memory. The milkman opended the side door to the kitchen and came right into the kitchen and put the dairy products into the fridge saying, have a great day Mrs. McCarroll. We ran out into the street to greet the Helms Bakery-man and we couldn't wait for the Good-Humor Ice cream-Man to drive by with his wonderful smile and ice cream treats. What a day to grow up!
Immediately my mind raced to the realities of today. I felt a sense of dread, anger and sadness come over me. I was saddened by the realities of the days we are experiencing now. Children, parents and whole families being beheaded, and their lives treated like animals not the wonderful creations that God has made them to be. Their only crime...they are Christians! And a demon possessed maniac in the Middle East thinks he is god and so he terrorizes that part of the world. My mind that is back in the 60's with Ed Sullivan, the Milk Man and the Good Humor Man doesn't know where to put this and I must confess it is hard to deal with.

Nature is convulsing all around the globe. We are seeing weather disturbances and ecological issues like never before. We just had a 6.0 earthquake in San Fransisco. Floods, hurricane's, tornadoes, and droughts. California is now experiencing what they call a 200 year drought. Lakes have been reduced to sand dunes. The moral fiber within the world community has degraded beyond repair. The leaders who are crazy and yes, demon possessed, and at best are flat out deceived, are the ones running the asylum now. The world's leaders are stuck in a cloud of deception thinking that the Jews are to blame for all of the worlds ills. They demand that Israel make ridiculous concessions with those who want to destroy her. If the powers and useful idiots could get-a-way with it, they'd remove Israel from The Middle East (ME) and put the PA in charge and watch the ME disintegrate to nothing but sand and weeds.
Today there is a leadership vacuum that is persistent in the world. The leadership hole is huge and we all know where this will lead. Someone will step up to fill the vacuum and it will be the "Man of Sin," The Antichrist of Revelation 13.
Christians in the USA want their ears tickled and have the attitude that they don't want to be confused by the truth of what is happening around them. So they bury their heads in the sand, as if to say, if I don't look at the truth it will just go away.
The "ENTIRE" Bible is no longer taught in our churches. Bible Prophecy is a bad word and if you talk about it or God-forbid teach it your deemed a fringe Christian!
The church is lazy and is not being the salt that our Lord called us to be. What a shame. In contrast we see Christians throughout the world being wholesale slaughtered and these dear believers would give anything to live in the USA.
Presbyterians, United Methodists and now the Protestants are divesting themselves from Israel and the Jewish people and calling for the division of Jerusalem. How can any so called Christian even consider this in light of the Bible? The answer is simple. They do not believe in the God of the Bible because if they did it would be impossible to hold to this position previously mentioned. The Christians of America should be ashamed that we have sat by and allowed these things to happen under our noses. The day is coming when The Lord will ask us to give an account for our apathy.
When our Messiah returns will He find faith on the earth? I fear the answer will be NO! See Luke 18:1-8.
The Middle East is on-fire. Israel is on the verge of a multi-front war with Lebanon, Syria (ISIS) and Gaza (Hamas). The Gaza engagement isn't over my friends. As soon as Hamas reloads they'll be back.
The Jews in Europe are making an exodus back to Israel because of the antisemitism in France, Britain and Germany to name three countries and there are more. Jews are being attacked here in the United States and some are moving to Israel. As antisemitism increases here in the States you will see Jews making their exodus, just like European Jews, back to Israel. When the North American Jews begin their exodus back to Israel en mass get ready because all hell will be unleashed on the world.
Side note here...today in Israel there is a cry to rebuild the temple and the majority of Jews believe they are living in the days right before Messiah's return. Ten years ago this was not the case, but it is today! Visit Israel National News or Arutz Sheva for articles and information.
Russia is making a move to demonstrate her power once again in Ukraine. Russia is thumbing her nose at the USA and the EU because she doesn't fear anyone any longer. China is asserting her power in the Asian peninsula and in the ME. Iran is gettin gearing up for nuclear confrontation. Russia is preparing for her time in history outlined by God in Ezekiel 38-39.
The Christians in The Middle East are being slaughtered as the world just watches. Christians in the ME are now at their lowest levels. This article highlights the trend!

If all of this weren't enough, we see an up tick in disease and viruses that have lethal effects on humans. If you're like me you're probably asking where does it stop? Enough is enough. Unfortunately the only way this will stop is for Yeshua to return and He cannot return until God's plan is fully complete and until the wickness and sin of the world reaches it's full measure. This will be done and complete at the end of the last 7 years of history as we have known it.
The Christians who love God with all their hearts look forward to the catching away of The Bride of Christ. This can be found in 1 Corinthians 15 and 1 thessalonians 4 talks about the rapture of the saints. I believe this is a good news/bad news story however. Why? It is going to get much worse I fear before we are called home forever.
It is fact now that we can say with 100% certainty that we are in the days right before the tribulation hour. I call this the "Shadow of The Tribulation" and as we move closer to that hour the birth pangs and circumstances will grow much worse. Just today I read a report that Muslims in Arizona schools will be provided rooms to pray in. Are you kidding? No. [Headline Here]
Here's another wake up and stand at attention headline! Judicial Watch reports that ISIS is now in Mexico on California's southern border ready to invade via car bombs. I'm not comfortable with this development. I'm only 50 minutes from San Diego. Today I told my wife we need to upgrade our defensive weapons.
Our children are being taught that the Bible is a bad thing in our schools. The only prayer that is allowed is Muslim prayers. The Christians and the God of the Bible are being silenced. God is about ready to give the world what it wants, a world without God and true believers. You know it's bad when you beg to die and you can't. That's where it's all headed!
Revelation 9:6: In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
Revelation 6:15-17: And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
I could continue listing evidences that we are the final generation, but I think you see my point.
My friends this is not going away and our lives are in for pressures that we have only had nightmares about and our nightmares will become the "new" reality as we move into the times of the tribulation.
The answer and solution:
We must pray and build up our faith. In John 14 Yeshua (Jesus) warns us to not be frighhtended over disheartening news. How do we cope with the impending horrors that are coming our way? Only one way...by focusing on The Lord and by staying in The Word of God and Prayer! We must hold on to Him and one another. We cannot allow what we see with our eyes to dictate our trust, faith, hope and reliance in Yeshua our Messiah. He is our refuge and safe place. He will watch over us. Let's remember, nothing can overtake us or harm us if the Lord hasn't given permission for it to happen. We are in His hands!
Psalm 12 - Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. They speak idly everyone with his neighbor; With flattering lips and a double heart they speak. May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, And the tongue that speaks proud things, Who have said, "With our tongue we will prevail; Our lips are our own; Who is lord over us?" "For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise," says the Lord; "I will set him in the safety for which he yearns."
