The Pope staggered the world and especially the Christian community with the announcement in a speech that Atheists can be redeemed! Those within the Catholic church were concerned and the Evangelical community was shocked as well.
"Even Atheists Can Go To Heaven" Really?
So, why has this received so much attention? What makes this a worthy prophetic event? I will attempt to connect the dots from the Bible and the headline in the hopes to provide better clarity for us all.
I need to point this out because it is so obvious. The word Atheist implies that there is no faith, love for, or trust in God, hence, an Atheist will not make it to heaven. There are no Atheists in fox holes or in heaven. Only believers are there!
We need to ask the question; was the Pope merely making a point that the Christian community needs to be more willing to extend love and a good witness to those who disagree with us or was the Pope beginning the process whereby he wants to move the Catholic church towards multi-pluralism? Is the Pope giving all Catholics and Evangelicals a shot across the bow that the time for an all inclusive church is coming to the "global" community? Could it be that the media is just blowing out of perportion his comments?
I can't get into the head of the Pope and I can't pretend to know what is in his heart, but we can make some educated statements based on his record thus far. With that being said however, this Pope has proven to be different than all of his predecessors. He is more hands on and he is a Pope of the people for sure. His record shows that he is more "inclusive" than any other Pope. His time spent in Argentina provides us a glimpse into his works and his leaning towards "interfaith dialogue" and he is known as a bridge builder. By the way, this in of itself isn't a bad thing as long as we do not try to blend other religions and Christianity together. I should mention that throughout the history of the Catholic church it has made many compromises in order to make the masses feel better and more friendly towards the church. Pope Francis seems to be continuing this trend.
The Bible tells us that the day is coming when an evil individual will enter the scene, he is refered to by the scriptures as the Antichrist. He will control the geo-political world and will build a "One-World" religious system that will be all inclusive. Because the Bible sheds great light on this subject, believers all over the globe are concerned with the Pope leading people to believe that the shed blood of Christ saves all people. It is true that Christ died for the sins of the world, all sinners, but the Bible is clear in Romans 10 and elsewhere that one must put their faith, trust and love in Jesus Christ to be saved. There is no doubt that the Lord Jesus is "The Door" for those who want to be saved from the pentalties of sin and have eternal life. On this, there is no wiggle room or compromise that can be made. To attempt to make people feel better and to compromise on this insults the sacrifice of Christ!
It is true that our God loves all of His creation and He has a special place in His heart towards us who He created in His own image, but our Heavenly Father will never allow His only begotten son's sufferings to be ignored or trifled with.
Therefore, when the the Pope even hints at the possibilities of such things it's alarming to say the least.
The world right now is running headlong towards an all inclusive religion. People today are tired of all the fights and arguments that various people of faith engage in and this had led to a desire to create a system that brings everyone into the same circle, a circle that screams, can't we all just get along? As well, the world doesn't like the idea of one having to repent of their sin to be saved by Jesus Christ. The world hates the idea that Jesus Christ is the "only way" to heaven. Because of the world's desire to "feel good" about themselves and not be asked to humble themselves, they are getting creative to write our Lord out of their "New Age" system and that system is driving the world community right into the arms of the Antichrist.
The Pope isn't the first to make statements like this. Pastor Rick Warren has been doing this for years and he believes that Christianity and the Muslim faith can be merged into one big happy family. So, for the Pope to enter the mix on this subject only confirms to me that we are drawing nearer to the time of the seven year tribulation and the rapture of the church.
I heard it said this way recently...Enoch being preflood is a picture the rapture, for Enoch walked with God and was no more for God took him. Noah is a picture of what will happen with the Jews during the tribulation, for Noah lived in turbulent times and when God's judgment came he and his family were protected and saved by God from the chaos on planet earth. The tribulation is meant to save all Jews at that time, a remanent, just as Noah and his family (remanent) were saved.
The signs are all around us that we are nearing the close of this age and soon we will hear the shofar (trumpet) sound and the voice of Yeshua to come up to Him. We are here now and then all at once we will be no more for our Messiah will take us to be with Him, just like He did with Enoch.
The fact that Pope Francis is calling for "inclusiveness" is a sign that the coming of Jesus Christ is close at hand and prophecy is being fulfilled in our generation!

'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.' Ezekiel 33:6
But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 1Thessalonians 5:1-6
“My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD. Because they lead my people astray, saying, ‘Peace,’ when there is no peace …”

I think there needs to be more study about the rapture. I don't believe anyone is leaving earth except those who die the first death. Then, Jesus will return to earth and we that remain will be changed and meet Him in the air in order to rule with Him on the earth. He will bring the first death saints with Him. If you are living then, you have have an opportunity to believe in Him and receive eternal life. Study, study, study!

Good article bro...It will not be long and the end will come. I just hope more people wake up and realize this...even many Believers deny this is happening.
God bless
