What does meteors, spying, Israel, Iran and Russia all have in common?
Before we move forward and attempt to answer the question above, I want to say something here. All of us at The Middle East Peace Update Report understand you have a lot of information that is coming at you daily. We never ask you do anything we have not done, therefore, we are asking you to go through this report carefully. We have assembled all the important facts and details through print media and video, so that if you move through this information with deliberate focus, you will have a complete understanding of the most important issues from a Geo-Political, Biblical and Prophetic perspective!

Yesterday Russia was struck with a meteor that was about the size of a bus, so reported Foxnews. The same day an asteroid the size of a football field, possibly half a football field, flew by earth and it was the closet encounter we have in hundreds of years, some 17,000 miles away from us. In space talk that is considered real close.
The question one should be asking is this, what does this mean, if anything at all?
I'm so glad you asked...I'll do my best to provide an answer from a Biblical view point.
Let run down the activities over the last few days chronologically:

- On February 12, 2013 Syria and Damascus Are in Danger of Collapse
- On Tuesday Feb. 13, 2013 Russia and Iran Form a Strategic Partnership
- On Thursday Feb. 14, 2013 Announcement - Asteroid Will Fly by Earth
- On Thursday Feb. 14, 2013 Russia is Hit in Freak Meteor Strike
- Obama is Due in Israel in March. First Trip Since 2009
So, there is the order of events that matter for the week of February 11, 2013. What can we take away from these events? What is the Lord saying to us through this wild week of Bible prophecy?
The easiest way to unravel a mystery is to start at the top. The Pope's resignation. As I already mentioned in my report on this, that I linked into number one above, I believe this is a significant sign that the "end time" calendar is speeding up and the curtain is about ready to rise. I believe that Malachy's understanding od the Popes where given to him by The Holy Spirit in an effort to alert, believers, to the time and urgency of the hour.
When you take all the events of this week and look at them together, as a panorama of things happening and things to come, it does take your breath away. Bible scholars and teachers from all over the world are absolutely out of breath over this weeks events. Hal Lindsey reported on his show that events are coming at us at break neck speed. Pastor Chuck Smith (my Pastor) of the Calvary Chapel movement in Southern California has said the same on his programs, World News Briefing and Pastors Perspective. God's calendar and "action plan" for human history cannot be stopped and will come to conclusion just as the Lord pre-planned.
When Russia and Iran made a "formal" strategic plan this week, I almost fell over. This is Ezekiel 38 and 39 to the absolute letter. This tells us that the rapture or removal of all "true" believers is on our immediate horizon. I believe scripture teaches us that the War of Ezekiel will happen after the Antichrist puts his "false peace" that Daniel predicted, together and in place.
The meteor strike in Russia, I believe is God's announcement to all who have understanding, that the judgments of man on earth is about to happen. Think about this with me for a moment...an asteroid flies by earth in a freak encounter and during the same time frame, after the Popes resignation, after this agreement between Russia and Iran is signed, then Russia takes a strike from God and 1,000 of her people are either injured or horribly confused and to top it off, God allows a huge asteroid to pass within inches of earth. Sidebar here...17,000 miles, when talking about planets and objects in space, is too close for comfort, according to all the scientists. On Foxnews, Purdue University Astrophysicist, Jay Melrosh stated that he just didn't have an answer as to why Russia seems to get hit by these types of meteor strikes. I have an answer, Russia has a destiny to fulfill with the Creator of The Universe and it isn't going to go well for her. God has warned her and she has turned a blind eye to His warnings, as has the world in general.

If all of this wasn't enough, now Obama, after four years in office, decides to pay Israel's PM a visit. The word on the street is that Obama will ask Bibi to leave Iran alone and I'm sure he'll sweeten the pie (deal) with something like, we won't pressure you on the Judea/Samaria construction. Believe me, Obama isn't going to Israel because he loves Israel or the Jews. Let's never forget where he spent 20 years of his life, in Rev. Wright's fascist, communistic and religiously corrupted, Black Liberation Theology background.
Luke 21:9-11 takes on a different meaning now doesn't it? These are the words of Yeshua, our Messiah over 2,000 years ago and it reads to me, like our headlines and events of today. Only a fool would argue otherwise!
"But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately." Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven."
The video below reveals the type of surveillance systems that our government has and don't think for a moment that the Antichrist will not avail himself of this technology. Interesting to contemplate isn't it?
So, what can we take away from all of this? What would the Lord want us to be focusing on in the face of all of these events and troubling signs?
Let's let the words and heart felt plea from our Lord and Savior speak to us from Luke 21:25-36:
"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." Then He spoke to them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."
