Gentiles Are Key to The Return of The Jews to Their Land Promised by God...
Isaiah 11:9-16
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea. "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious." It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea. He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth. Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, And Judah shall not harass Ephraim. But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; Together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; And the people of Ammon shall obey them. The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River, And strike it in the seven streams, And make men cross over dry-shod. There will be a highway for the remnant of His people Who will be left from Assyria, As it was for Israel In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
Bro Stef's Commentary:
As we look closely at this scripture we see a few things of interest:
- The "Root of Jesse" is non other than the Messiah of Israel, the Lord Yeshua, the Son of God Jesus Christ.
- The "Gentiles will seek Him." Since the death, burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ in 33 A.D. the Gentiles have sought after Him, the Messiah for salvation and enternal life. The majority of Jews have not.
- The Lord's resting place is "Glorious". After the Lord was raised from the dead He accended to heaven. What a glorious resting place.
- The Lord will "Recover the remnant of His people." After 1-3 above has occurred, the Lord will go after His people and bring them back from all parts of the world! This happened on May 14, 1948. God restored the Jewish People to His land, the Land of Israel at this time. He is still completing this prophecy to this day.
- "Ephraim shall not envy Judah, And Judah shall not harass Ephraim." Israel is no longer divided by north and south. Israel is one nation just as this prophecy describes.
- The day is coming when the enemies of the Jews will be destroyed. The people at this time will see miracles like God did when He brought His people up out of Egypt, like the parting of the Red Sea. God will make highways and roads for His people to come home to Him, whever they may be!
What a glorious prophecy this is and what a time to be alive, to see God glorify Himself once again in His people, the Jews and in His land, The Land of Israel!
We praise you and thank you Lord for allowing us all to see you perform your word in this generation!
Peace and Love in Jesus The Messiah,
Shalom v'ahava b'Yeshua Ha'Mashiach

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. ~1Thessalonians 5:1-6
