From the formation of Israel as a nation to the worlds obsession over Israel's place in the world, never before in history have all the End-Time Signs come together, until now, in our generation!   

The Bible is accurate in all of its prophetic claims and we believe that the Bible is to be interpreted literally. The Bible is the literal Word of God and is not to be tampered with. It should be revered and respected. We do not compromise on this point!

We are proud to be supporters of Israel as the land that God promised to His people the Jews by Abrahamic Covenant. We support Israel and stand with her. Yes, we are Zionists! Furthermore we believe that the two state solution is disasterous for Israel according to Joel 3:1-3 .

God's Unmerited Favor

 

I heard a heartbreaking story on the radio once. A woman called into the station. She was hurting deeply and didn't know how to get out of the pit she was in. As she shared her story she cried out, “I’m tired! I don’t want to fight anymore!”

Have you ever felt like you couldn’t take another day and face another mountain?

I was hit by something once. I didn’t know why it happened or how it was going to work out. As I was sharing it with my friend, she expressed, “Maybe God is trying to teach you about grace.”

After talking to her, I opened my Amplified Bible and started reading Zechariah chapter four. I came across verse seven, which read: “For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him] you shall become a plain [a mere molehill]! And he shall bring forth the finishing gable stone [of the new temple] with loud shoutings of the people, crying, Grace, grace to it!”

The Mysterious Gabriel Stone Prophecy

In recent weeks we have seen a resurfacing of this extremely unique artifact, the Gabriel Stone, that was discovered around the year 2008. The stone is said to contain the prophecy of the death and resurrection of the Jewish Messiah, written by the Angel Gabriel who appeared to Mary and Joseph and that this stone was written at the birth of Christ.

Needless to say the Christian and Jewish communities are very interested in this stone that has been found and has been found to be authentic by some, although tests are still being conducted! It should be noted that the date of the stone and writing has been verified to have been created very near to the birth of Christ.

Giving Students Condoms or Bibles... Which is Worse?

A teacher gets fired for giving a Bible to a student. Really? Yes. This actually happened in The United States of America.

In our schools we approve the free and open discussion and demonstration of homosexuality, being a trans-gender person, abortion on demand, we even are teaching our young people how to kiss the same sex in the classroom. All of this we call good and wholesome behavior and education.

But God Forbid a teacher should give a student something that is actually good for the child, like a Bible. Oh my goodness, the school treats the teacher like he or she just gave the young person poison.  What has happened to our country?

I will try my best to answer this question in a responsible manner.

We live in a fast paced, demanding world. It seems like everyone you talk to has too much on their plate. God’s called me to homeschool my four children and write. Life can get pretty overwhelming with my kids’ activities and writing if I try to take on too many demands at once.  If you have kids, don’t you feel overwhelmed when they demand your attention all at the same time?  I can’t count how many times I’ve said to my kids, “One thing at a time! There’s only one of me!”

Regretfully, I’ve said the same thing to God when I’ve been overwhelmed and burdened with ministry or family needs. But God reminds me that His burden is light. When I’m overwhelmed, I’m carrying my own load, not His.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Breastplate of Righteousness

Yesterday I released a devotional book on the Armor of God, titled "Armor of Light: A 7 - Week Devotional on Ephesians 6:10-18." I wanted to share this excerpt with you from week two about putting on righteousness.

Breastplate of Righteousness

 ~Ephesians 6:14

 

 

    Ephesians 6:14 instructs us to put on the breastplate of righteousness. The Amplified Bible explains righteousness as: “integrity, moral rectitude, and right standing with God.”

Job said he put on righteousness as his clothing (Job 29:14). When we receive Jesus, His righteousness is imputed to us. We then have a choice to continuing wearing His righteousness or return to wearing our unrighteousness.

 

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Iran is Going Nuclear

It looks like Iran is going nuclear!

DebkaFile Reports: US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was hardly out of Israel’s door Tuesday, April 23, when a spate of awkward data came spilling out in Tel Aviv.

Iran has crossed the last red line Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu laid down before the UN Assembly last September, said the well-informed former military intelligence chief Amos Yadlin. None of the measures for halting Iran’s race for a nuclear bomb have worked, he said. For a while, Tehran was impressed by the Israeli prime minister’s warning, but then went back to uranium enrichment at top speed. By now, Iran has certainly gone past the limit set by Netanyahu. Likud lawmaker Tzahi Hanegbi said Israel has no more than a month or two for stopping a nuclear Iran.

Sin Series: Sexual Immorality

This is the last message in my series on sin. We continue last week’s message on Colossians 3:5-7 with turning away from temptation and putting to death the things of our flesh (denying our flesh of its desires).

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.

Colossians 3:5-7

Last week, I talked about turning away from and denying our flesh of greed (covetous). This week we focus on turning away from and denying our flesh of sexual immorality.

If today was your last day, and you never walked the face of this planet again, what would people remember you for? What things did you accomplish? Would you be greatly missed, or quickly forgotten? Would you be remembered as a selfish grump who did nothing but complain? Or, a loving, giving person who loved others and served God?

And then there's the big question. In fact, you were probably expecting just one more question, weren't you?

When the time comes, and it is just you and God, what will He say about your life on earth? Will He be well-pleased? Moderately pleased? Or, worse, not pleased at all?

Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Happy Independence Day)

Yom Ha'atzmaut centers around the declaration of the establishment of the State of Israel by The Jewish Leadership led by future Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, on 14 May 1948. This was declared eight (8) hours before the end of the British Mandate of Palestine, which was due to finish on 15 May 1948. 

Sin Series: Greed

This is the eighth message in my series on sin. The series will end next week. For these last two messages we will focus on our willpower to turn away from temptation and put to death the things of our flesh.

The Bible instructs us to:

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.

Colossians 3:2-7

When our minds are on Christ, by the power of His spirit we can put to death those things that used to control us (Romans 8:13). To put to death means to deny our flesh of its desires. The verse above instructs us to deny our flesh of greed (covetous), which is idolatry. We deny our flesh of greed by continually making God the Lord of our lives, not money and other earthly possessions.

In the first message, I talked about keeping our lamps full so we are ready for Jesus’ return. Living with an eternal focus is the key to denying our flesh of greed. The perishable things of this world won’t mean anything to us once we are gone. So why hold onto them and make them lord of our lives?

Tensions again shot up Tuesday, April 9, with Pyongyang’s warning of a ballistic missile firing Wednesday, April 10 toward the Pacific and advice to foreigners in the South to evacuate: “We do not wish harm on foreigners in the South should there be a war,” said the statement.

 Last week, foreign embassies were informed that North Korea would not guarantee the safety of their staffs after April 10.Japan has deployed Patriot missile interceptors around its defense ministry headquarters in Tokyo and other key facilities including Okinawa, in the wake of North Korea’s move last week of two intermediate- missiles to its eastern coast, placing Japan, South Korea and the US bases at Guam within range.

In Tehran, meanwhile, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad unveiled Tuesday two additional uranium-processing facilities at Ardakan in the central province of Yazd. This was announced with the official disclosure by Iranian state TV of uranium mines operating in the town of Saghand, 120 kilometers from Ardakan, which are reported to have an estimated output of 60 tons of yellowcake for use in the uranium enrichment process.In case this show of defiance was lost on the West, Tehran is now threatening to follow in the footsteps of its North Korean partner and withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in the wake of the failure of the latest negotiations between the Islamic regime and world powers (April 5-6) in Kazakhstan.

Sin Series: Envy

This is the seventh message in my series on sin in the church. Last week, I talked about how our spirit is perfectly holy in Christ. When our soul (mind, will, and emotions) and spirit are in agreement, our body (flesh) will follow.

I’ve already talked about bringing our mind into agreement with our spirit. Now we are focusing on our emotions.

James 3:14-16 warns us:

But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

We may not realize that envy is linked to selfishness. To be envious is to be discontent with who we are and what we have (focusing on ourselves), and to be jealous of and covet what someone else has.

What sparked the idea for this report?

The other day I was watching a TV show with my wife, we DVR'd it and I noticed a scene in the show were there was an inordinate amount of scenes of men kissing men. When I see this, I stop watching the program and usually turn it off. I just have a really hard time watching the poisoning of the moral fiber in the country. 

I should say I do not hate gays, my nephew is gay. However, I do not approve of that lifestyle choice at all and I do believe that one can choose to not follow their impulses and they can say "NO" to sex and abstain from a lifestyle that the Bible teaches is an abomination to God. I also believe that in order to follow my recommendation above, one will have to surrender their life to Jesus Christ in order to have the power and strength that only comes from God.

Could the moment of explosion be near? North Korean madman's new warning as U.S. deploys battalion expert in nuclear and chemical warfare after rogue state moves its missiles to the coast.

As I listen and observe the news about North Korea and what the U.S. and Britain are saying it's clear to me that they are very concerned to say the least. Over the years the North Korean's have made their intentions known by not honoring their agreements and promises. They have continued to build up their missile attack capabilities and for the most part, the world has allowed this to happen.
